URGENT UPDATE: Online education to end for PYP4-8 classes
According to the announcement from the government this week, all of the health pandemic restrictions currently in place have been removed for our PYP4-8 students. Classes will resume from Monday 8th February. Further information regarding the school program will follow shortly.
This means that online instruction for students in MYP1-5 will be continued until February 28th.
PYP 1-3: Students at the Bushojvaenget campus will continue their normal schedule of classes and ASA will also operate according to their regular schedule.
Note: Emergency child care for front line, essential workers is available upon request. To access this service, parents are requested to contact Charlotte Jessen firstname.lastname@example.org in writing.
We realize the online form of education will place further demands on parents to support and monitor their child’s learning and would like already now to express our thanks for your willingness to help your child meet with success under these distance learning conditions. MYP and PYP teachers and administrators are also working closely together to continuously update and improve the methods used to make online learning as effective as possible. It is hoped that our efforts together with yours will continue to make education at AIS a positive and meaningful experience.
With best of wishes.
